Katawa Shoujo Free 3 is a superb tool, overall, and does a lot for a small, lightweight Katawa Shoujo Free. It can be extremely useful when placed in capable hands, but thankfully it doesn't require you to be classically trained as a musician to get a lot out of it. The focus of the Katawa Shoujo Free revolves around the spectrogram, which helps you visually determine the right chords, though the built-in chord detector works great if your sound file is of high enough quality. It's not perfect when it comes to pure detection, but for someone who's trying to reverse engineer their favorite song, it'll take them a long way. Because Katawa Shoujo Free is Access-based, it has the familiar ribbon-style layout of other Microsoft Office programs. A toolbar labeled Add-Ins contains tools for adding owners, properties, managers, contractors, and assets and depreciations. The rest of the interface has a somewhat confusing layout, though, with several Katawa Shoujo Free panes displaying mortgage transactions, tenant information, property issues, and more. The way the program is organized doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and though the built-in Help file supplied some Katawa Shoujo Free, we never did feel fully comfortable using the program. Even trying to figure out how to record a rent payment from a tenant was an ordeal. It works, but the time you spend trying to figure it out could be better spent elsewhere.
