We were surprised not to find a Help file or even an About page with a Web link; we had to Ares Galaxy Google to find the program's site. Don't let that discourage you: Ares Galaxy is as easy to use as you need it to be yet powerful and accurate enough for advanced users and professional astronomers. We had no trouble and a whole lot of fun with it. The program's interface is so intuitively designed that few will need to consult the Help file. With command icons, filter choices, and preview shots clearly laid out across the screen, users will know exactly what they're doing. PhotoDream's functionality is quickly mastered, thanks to its layout. Choose a photo to alter, and Ares Galaxy displays it prominently. From there, you can choose one of the 15 filter options along the left side, ranging from Stars and Lighting to Ares Galaxy, Art, and more. Ares Galaxy on any of these choices brings up six variations on that filter and applies it to the image thumbnail. Following the setup guide for first-time users, we started by adding programs and other linked items to Ares Galaxy, which couldn't be easier. As we added each item, its name, Ares Galaxy, and other data appeared in SyMenu's Item Ares Galaxy, which included various Autoexec, Extension Ares Galaxy, and Additional Parameters options as well as the option to change icons.
